Mr. Hani Mohammed Al Zubair

Chairman

Mr. Al Zubair is a highly experienced financial and business management professional. He began his career in investment banking in Geneva, later working at Morgan Grenfell Bank in London and joining OMINVEST in Oman.

In addition to his role with The Zubair Corporation, he holds leadership positions in various organizations, including Chairman of the Fund for Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah) and Vice-Chairman of several financial institutions. He has also contributed to numerous boards and associations, representing the private sector in government-owned hotels, and participating in international forums.

Mr. Al Zubair holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science and is an avid sports enthusiast.

Mr. Said Salim Al Sahib

Vice Chairman

Said Al Sahib boasts over 25 years of experience in business development, excelling in both public and private sectors.

He has a strong track record of delivering bottom-line results in highly competitive settings, with expertise in change management, organization, and motivational leadership. His success extends to global strategy and operational solutions, offering unique value and impact.

With a background in government economic planning, he has represented the private sector in international delegations. Al Sahib holds a Master’s degree in International Business Finance and an Executive Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from the Charter Management Institute (CMI), UK.

Mr. Rashad Jaffar Al Shaikh

Director

Rashad boasts more than 25 years of diverse banking expertise encompassing Investment Banking, Corporate & SME Banking, and Retail Banking. He presently serves as Deputy Group Head of Retail Banking at Oman Arab Bank.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, USA.

Qais

Mr. Qais Mahmood Al-Khonji

Qais Al Khonji, an Atlantic College, Wales, UK, IB graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from De Montfort University, has a diverse entrepreneurial background. He has explored various business ventures from Import-Export to Enhanced Oil Recovery while also contributing to his family business.

In addition to his involvement with Sharakah, he has served on the boards of companies like Oman National Engineering & Investment CO. and Muscat National Holding.

He has also represented Oman within the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

Mr. Kamal Uddin Hassan Al Maraza

Kamal Uddin Hassan Al Maraza, General Manager & Chief Islamic Banking Officer – Maisarah Islamic Banking Services of Bank Dhofar has more than 23 years of experience ranging in Credit, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, SME Financing, etc.

He has worked in various banks such as HSBC Bank Middle East, Bank Sohar S.A.O.G, and Bank Dhofar S.A.O.G Primarily, as he spent the past 13 years playing a crucial role in areas such as strategic planning and execution and business transformation in the bank.

Mr. Hassan Abdul Amir Shabant

Hassan A. Shaban is a General Manager-Chief Government Banking Officer at National Bank of Oman SAOG.

He is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience of Government Banking, Communication, Public Relations, Marketing and Branding, Wealth Management & Financial Services with organizations like Commerzbank of Zurich, Majan International Bank, and latest with National bank Of Oman since April 2004. He is representing NBO on Sharakah Board.

Previously, Mr. Shaban worked in Diplomatic field as Omani Commercial attaché in South Africa – 1993-1995 and Oman Commercial attaché in Taiwan – 1995 – 1997.

He holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Nottingham.

Ms. Malvika Khimji

Director

Having completed her education in Oman and UK, Malvika graduated in Law from The University of Westminster.

She worked at Trowers & Hamlins besides various law firms in Oman before joining the family business in 2013 as the first woman Director on the Board of Khimji Ramdas. Her journey began in the Consumer Products Cluster, working with leading global brands like Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s, and Red Bull, and eventually taking on the responsibility of overseeing the operations of the Projects and Logistics Cluster, which includes shipping, multimodal logistics, travel and tourism, and insurance services.

Malvika has gained valuable insights into managing people resources while overseeing the Human Resources vertical at Khimji Ramdas as Director. Her aim is to contribute holistically to nation-building and people development.
