Sharakah offers a number of services to SMEs prior and post financing. These services include:

1) Review Business Plan

Conduct a preliminary analysis to confirm the viability of the business by verifying the need for such services in the targeted market, assessing the barrier for entry in the market, confirming the project cost, reviewing the sales projects and required resources.

2) Project Financial Projections

Assist SMEs in preparing the cash flow using Sharakah’s templates. Educating the business owners of the various income sources.

3) Risk Assessment

Conduct a Risk Assessment for the business to identify areas of concern for any business. Then help them develop a risk mitigation strategy.

4) Access to Markets

Continuously research possible opportunities for business partners (SMEs). Arrange meetings with senior officials at large corporations and government agencies.

5) Promoting Services and Products

Utilizing Sharakah’s social media accounts to promote the services & products of the SMEs.

6) Networking

Linking SMEs of similar interest to benefit from each other services. Providing opportunities for SMEs to showcase their success in local and regional events.

7) Monitor Performance

Site visits and periodic review of the business performance using Sharakah Business Performance Monitoring Tool (BPMT).

8) Review Financial Reports

Review actual and updated business cash flow and identify areas for improvement. Likewise, review audited financials

9) Developing Marketing Plan

Assist SMEs to develop an annual marketing plan which focuses on the targeted market, the promotional approach, associated cost and the timeframe.

Sharakah Tools

Risk Assessment Tool (RAT)

A credit rating tool that assess various risks associated with the business and produces a credit score. The assessment looks at the company, the business owner, the product or service, project cost, means of finance, financial viability and manpower. It consists of 48 criteria each with its own weightage.

Business Performance Monitoring Tool (BPMT)

A performance measurement tool which verifies if there has been any improvement in the business over a specified timeframe. The tool looks at any improvement in applying quality systems, abiding by industry quality standards, applying branding guidelines, promotional efforts online and on traditional media, applying human resources best practices and adhering to relevant regulations and policies.
